Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers or sealers.
- Apply paint or coatings using various techniques such as brushing, rolling, or spraying to achieve desired finishes.
- Mix and match paints to ensure proper color and consistency, following specifications.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect finished work for quality, making touch-ups or adjustments as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Proven experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment used in industrial settings.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in painting and coating processes.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
salary: $20 - $26 per hour
