We are seeking a committed, compassionate, and experienced Permanent Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your skills and experience in wound care and skilled nursing care to provide exceptional service to our patients. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Nurse Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include

• Providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to patients, focusing on wound care and skilled nursing care.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing health conditions, and developing treatment plans.
• Educating patients and their families on disease prevention and health promotion.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Documenting patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration, and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Participating in professional development activities and maintaining current knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in the medical field.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Nurse Practitioner, you must have

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on wound care and skilled nursing care.
• An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• A Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized board.
• Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
