The Worship Leader oversees worship services, leads worship music, and manages Trinitys live stream and recorded video content. Overseeing worship services includes planning worship elements and environment as well as coordinating volunteers for areas such as music and technology. Leading worship music includes selecting and arranging music, rehearsing with the music teams, and leading music during the service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Sunday morning worship and occasional special services (e.g. Good Friday)
• Shape worship with pastoral staff that witnesses to Gods activity and creates space for a transformative encounter with Gods Spirit
• Identify and manage volunteers necessary for worship services, including worship team, audio and visual volunteers, livestream, and sanctuary support
• Oversee worship environment to reflect sermon series and church seasons
• Administer Trinitys YouTube channel and sermon podcasts

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required

• Singing and instrumental skills to lead worship music
• Reading and arranging music in multiple styles including contemporary and hymn worship
• Preparing and leading a group of musicians as a cohesive worship team
• Managing multiple volunteer teams
• Configuring and operating audio, visual and recording equipment
• Working eectively with pastoral sta to plan worship service elements
• Planning and completing tasks reliably on time

• Musical and visual creativity
• Aptitude with a variety of musical styles including contemporary worship music and hymns

Education and Experience

Required

• Experience leading congregational worship with a band
• Experience leading volunteer teams

Valued

• Training or education in music or worship leadership

Additional Job Details and Requirements

• Salaried, half-time position (20 hours/week)
• Responsible/reports to Lead Pastor
• Oce hours via physical presence and some telecommuting
