Position Overview:

ICAST is seeking to establish a new HVAC Installation division with an experienced HVAC Foreman, who will be responsible for the installation of high efficiency furnaces, heat pump-based and other HVAC systems in New Mexico. This position will be responsible for managing the site work including schedule, labor, and materials. The HVAC Foreman will be expected to enforce all ICAST policies, and OSHA safety standards and procedures while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is a position for someone interested in growing their career by helping ICAST establish and grow this new service across other ICAST territories nationally.

Requirements

Must Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience with the installation of high efficiency furnaces in homes.
  • 2+ years' experience with the installation of Cold Climate Heat Pump HVAC (ccASHP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ Years experience in leading a team of HVAC field technicians/installers
  • Knowledge of HVAC methods, materials, and all equipment for use in homes
  • Specialized knowledge of multiple HVAC manufactures systems and controls.
  • Knowledge of current NM building codes, permitting and inspection process for Albuquerque and surrounding areas
  • Valid and current Driver License with clean driving record.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally to resolve issues including but not limited to those relating to costs and scheduling
  • A thorough understanding of principles of training and supervision
  • Demonstrable understanding of technical aspects of the HVAC trade
  • Possess an OSHA 30 certification or other related construction certification
  • Expertise in the operation and maintenance of tools, equipment and machinery used in HVAC maintenance and repair
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability
  • Proficient with M365 (MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook)


Location: Albuquerque, NM

Reports to: Service Manager

Skill Level: Intermediate or Advanced

Areas of Expertise: Heat pumps, Furnaces, HVAC, Mechanical Contractor, Foreman

Compensation: DOE


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the installation of HVAC systems in Multifamily buildings.
  • Provides day to day oversite of assigned project(s) budget, schedule, materials, and labor assignments.
  • Estimates materials and equipment needed for projects, assigns tasks; prepares and approves material requisitions for the HVAC department per established procedures.
  • Assists construction department with inspections of new HVAC projects and other contracted work related to assigned duties; checks drawings, plans and specifications regarding HVAC details per established procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of daily installations in Project Management Systems.
  • Work with Construction Dept. Staff to develop complete punch lists.
  • Attending and reporting on assigned projects in weekly Teams Construction Department meetings.
