Description:
In the role of a Welder/ Ir shopTechnician you will be required to work with iridium that grow crystals that are used in our scanners all around the world.
Please note this role will require flexibility to work weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
Maintain Iridium fleet
Weld Iridium crucibles to specifications
Enter information into a database daily
Clean metals using a media blaster
Use of an air hammer to maintain critical materials
Inspect Iridium fleet and repair as necessary
Follow process MPI documentation and safety procedures
Qualifications:
HS Degree
Good communication and computer skills (Word and Excel)
Strong understanding of operating mechanical equipment.
Experience of working a welding environment.
Ability to interpret and analyze complex metals.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25Lbs
Detail Orientated
Ability to multitask in a fast moving environment
Must be comfortable working in hot environment
Preferred experience, skills and education
Welding certification is a plus.
Hands-on metal working environment and basic use of hand tools.
Experience of working with media blasters.
Experience maintaining complex equipment used for production
Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
1-3 years Manufacturing environment experience preferred
