Our client is seeking a talented Web/Full Stack Developer to join their team as a Quantitative Researcher. As part of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a Django/ReactJS based web application that informs the Investment Research and Portfolio Construction Process. You will work closely with Portfolio Management and Research teams to integrate new ideas and optimize the existing codebase written in Python, Javascript, and HTML.
Responsibilities:
Build new widgets using Python and ReactJS that inform the Investment Research and Portfolio Construction Process
Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management and Research teams to integrate new ideas
Optimize existing codebase written in Python, Javascript, and HTML
Integrate company-wide programming and data standards
Maintain back and front-end infrastructure
Qualifications:
Relevant professional working experience as a web developer (preferably as a full-stack engineer)
Advanced Python (Pandas, Numpy, Django) experience required
Advanced Javascript/HTML (ReactJS, Redux) experience required
SQL experience highly preferred
Portfolio Management and/or Investing knowledge a plus
