Weatherization Technicians perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work related to energy upgrades and building maintenance, carpentry, caulking, air sealing, building insulation and pipe & valve insulation.

We're looking for candidates with 2+ years of previous construction experience. Your day to day will include:

Using a tape measure to measure door frames, cutting weather stripping to length using a miter saw, using drills and various types and sizes of drill bits, measuring and cutting Styrofoam board with a utility knife, installing fiberglass insulation, using spray foam, and window caulking.
Performing a variety of tasks involving the use of different hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment used to measure, cut, drill, mount and caulk various weatherization materials.
Assisting with loading and unloading of trucks and staging material when needed; and
Working on elevated platforms when needed including ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and other mechanized equipment.

This is a prevailing wage project, so hourly rate starts at $30 per hour.

Requirements

2+ years of previous construction or maintenance experience
Comfortable with a pre-employment Drug Test, Background Check, and MVR check
Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
Reliable vehicle to get to work every day
