In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

You will be responsible for co-managing logistics 3PL(s) in warehousing and inbound transport environment. Strong focus on inbound process quality as well as operational handling of DEFOA/MOA's/etc., both leading to future proof and robust process changes.


You are responsible for

Liaison on inbound transport accounts
Warehousing 3PL counterpart on operational performance
Quality management regarding process adherence and improvements
Initiating improvements in inbound transport and warehousing processes
Participating in (transformation projects) or leading (continuous improvements/opex) projects
Invoice control
ICS/ SOX related activities
Handling claims towards 3PLs


You are a part of
the IWD (Integrated warehouse & distribution) logistics group in Best, which consists of several members each responsible for key activities within the warehouse domain. You will report into the IWD manager Best.


To succeed in this role, youll need a customer-first attitude and the following

Bachelor or Master degree in a supply chain related field
Operational experience in logistics and affiliation with warehouse management
Experience with SAP
Strong analytical skills
Experience in managing process quality (compliance, work instructions, standard ways of working, etc.)
A person who is willing to drive the process rather than being part of the process
A person with following behavior and character: customer-focused, precise, persistent, finisher, make-it-happen attitude, pro-active, deliver on commitment, social, group player.
Someone who is familiar with the LEAN terminology and way of working
Fluency in Dutch is strongly preferred
