What you'll be doing:

  • Verify incoming shipments, compare identifying information and count against bills of lading other records.
  • Identify materials (raw and finished) with correct part numbers.
  • Pick, pull and stage plant orders per daily pull sheets and/or as directed by supervisor.
  • Verify count for all orders received and pulled; issue material via computer.
  • Review staged orders for status and reports shortages.
  • Transport materials, supplies and orders to other departments as needed.
  • Communicate differences in stock levels and reorders as needed.
  • Attend and participate in quality team meetings, safety meetings and other training.

Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need.

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year warehouse experience
  • Math and calculation
  • Forklift license a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Some knowledge of blueprint interpretation
  • Experience working in Lean Manufacturing environments
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
