1. County business need/background
The Resident Services Hennepin Library IT group (RS IT) is seeking a consultant / Developer with experience developing cloud applications in Azure. This person would primarily be responsible for developing API's for cloud applications specific to the logic layer of the Three Tier Application Development Framework that we adhere to at Hennepin County. This would include building integrations between on-prem and Azure cloud resources.

Developer's primary responsibility will be developing API's for cloud applications specific to the logic layer of the Three Tier Application Development Framework, including building integrations between on-prem and Azure cloud resources.

Cloud application development using .Net and .Net Core.
Building integrations between on-prem and Azure cloud resources (API's)
API Management

Onsite or remote: Fully remote

Fulltime or parttime: Full-time

The ideal candidate for this project will have knowledge and experience in the following:

Cloud application development using .Net and .Net Core
Building integrations between on-prem and Azure cloud resources (API's)
Re-write or enhancement of applications based on .Net, C# and Pearl
API Management
Expert knowledge in .Net and .Net Core frameworks
Good Experience in Angular, Typescript, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Secure Coding, REST APIs, SQL Server, etc., and deployed to Azure Cloud Infrastructure
Good understanding of progressive web applications
Knowledge and understanding in secure coding best practices
Good understanding of testing web applications for mobile use and accessibility
Good general understanding of Azure Services and Azure portal
Good understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory fundamentals
Writing necessary documentation.

Nice to have:
Experience working in a Library setting

Pay range - $57 to $64 per hour on W2.
