VP, Analytics and Business Intelligence-(NAT0000008N)Description
The Vice President provides vision and strategy for all data and analytics activities at the company. VP of D&A has accountability for the enterprise data and analytics assets and is responsible for delivering a strategy supporting business outcomes, data management, data governance and quality and control functions. The VP of D&A will lead a group consisting of business analysts and information technology analysts that will align business data and analytics function within one area to allow for increased collaboration, provide increased accountability as related to data as well as speed up technical and business execution. This role will report to the Chief Enterprise Architect.

Responsibilities:


Develop vision and strategy for data initiatives across organization.

Works collaboratively with leaders and data stakeholders across the organization via leading the data council committee, regarding ways to better integrate, manage, optimize, and capitalize data as an asset to develop the organizations unified data and analytics strategy.

Responsible for defining and driving analytics and business intelligence initiatives for decision making through governance, new capabilities, and a center of excellence.

Evolve the data platform and develop extended data capabilities including strategic analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, applied AI, predictive modelling, and data science to drive support business initiatives.

Partners with region and practice leaders (BUL), business operations and IT leaders to identify new kinds, types, and sources of data to drive business innovation and competitive differentiation, evaluate and build data tools and infrastructure for use by business to meet their data and analytic needs.

Establish data ownership, integrity, lineage and data standards for analytics including business definitions, enterprise data dictionary, key performance indicators (KPI), enterprise code sets, data elements and business rule.

Establish, maintain, and apply up-to-date knowledge of data technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies.

Organize and lead a data and analytics center of excellence. Define roles and responsibilities and, recruit talent to develop enterprises capacity to deliver data analytics work.

Oversee various data functions including development of Data and Analytics products, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Standardization and Data Quality, Tools and Processes, Accessibility, and Data Governance.

Qualifications
Key Requirements:



Ten years experience advancing business intelligence and analytics

A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Five years experience in data architecture, analytics, and database technologies.

Demonstrated, competency in data governance principles including lineage, verification, and integrity.

Superior leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.

Exceptional technical, analytical, and project management skills.

Extensive knowledge of reporting and data environments such as MS SQL Server, SSRI, PowerBi, PowerApps

The current salary range for this position is $150,500 to $200,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
