Job Description:

As the Director of UX, they will lead the customer experience for pre and post purchase support to our customers across all shopping channels. The ideal candidate is empathetic, curious, and passionate about advocating for our customers. They care deeply about quality of work, usability, consistency, brand relevance and compliance across all deliverables. They will work closely and successfully with all personalities and levels to support ground-breaking functionality and design.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee product design life cycle from initial research through conceptualization, to concept completion, including sketching proposals of initial designs, proposing alternative plans, and determining direction in collaboration with senior executives and outside vendors
  • Work with other leaders to determine product development priorities
  • Define customer journey that transform into long term strategic plan.
  • Maintain close relationship with development teams to ensure that design specifications are met and implemented.
  • Promote human centered design and design thinking principles across the organization
  • Experience in leading A/B testing from design side
  • Understand how A/B test work, or familiarity with experiment methodologies
  • Knowledge / Experience in role that collaborated with global and regional partners would be helpful
  • A creative problem solver who is able to help team members to see the whole picture and execute accordingly
  • Qualifications

    • 8+ years of work experience in UX Design field (UX design, research, HCI etc)
    • 5+ years as a design leader who leads large consumer experience projects using Human-Centered Design and/or Lean Start-up Methodologies
    • Ability to communicate the initiative and product to others (Business Partners) through consumer journeys, storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and infographics with virtual collaboration tools.
    • Knowledgeable of the latest best practices and technologies with an understanding that there is always a way we can continuously improve.
    • Data driven and goal oriented, you measure success both quantitatively and qualitatively, and understand the importance of both
    • Unrivaled communication skills, and know how to make people listen and understand
    • Able to see big picture, but are willing to dive into the details to move projects along, a team player with a "no task is too small" attitude.
