The rooms are studio style and include a full kitchenette.**Registered Nurse Operating Room ** Operating Room Full Time; (Call Rotation Required) Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced **Registered OR Nurse.** Brief Job Description: Be responsible for the perioperative nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult surgical and geriatric patients. Provide care through the use of the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective without compromising quality of care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (RN OR). Perform as a perioperative nurse the assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing intervention and evaluation. Required to demonstrate competency to circulate for simple to complex surgical procedures and as a perioperative nurse for all age groups. Experience in scrubbing into procedures will be utilized. Expected to have knowledge of surgical procedures and have the ability to oversee the instrument(s) and equipment set-up, for the case utilizing preference cards, and anticipates needs of the surgeon.Requirements: Must have current State of Texas RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, & ACLS are all also required. (1) One year of Operating Room experience is required. **Experienced and strong in Orthopedics, General, Endo Vascular, and Neuro.To ensure the safety of all employees, patients and visitors and to limit the spread of COVID-19 All persons within Midland Health buildings are required to wear a universal fabric face mask in public areas: Hallways Cafeteria (unless you are dining) Teaming Stations Department Common Areas Etc. The proper way to wear your mask is to cover your nose and mouth. Social distancing of at least 6 feet is also required. A screening will also be conducted as personnel enter the hospital. They will be asked about travel, contact with COVID-19, and temperature will be taken.
