MRI Technologist DIA Evening Shift with weekendsMidland Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist Mon - Fri - 12p-8p with 1 wk on call (every other month). The week they are on call will be 24-hour call both Saturday and Sunday. Will be discussed in more detail during interviews. Hospital provides housing and bill rate is adjusted accordingly. No exceptions will be made, travelers must take our housing. ALL housing arrangements must be made through HR. For housing information please call 432-221-HOME(4663). 1) $80 bill rate - 1 bedroom furnished apartment with all utilities included. (Cable/Internet must be provided by traveler, if desired) 2) $80 bill rate - HOSPITEL housing-- repurposed hospital rooms that have been converted into hotel rooms.Brief Job Description: Practice technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately. Assesses situations; exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient. Acts as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession. Use equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures, perform services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team. Requirements: ARRT registered. Must have 1 year of experience as a MRI technologist. Must hold MRI registry. Licensure requirements - 24 CEU credit hours every 2 years as required by ARRT/TDSH **If Traveler is selected for assignment, State and County Criminal Background check must be a FULL background check and not limited to 7 years**
