Title: Sr. Full Stack Engineer (IoT)

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Hire Mode: Contract

Client: LTI Mindtree/ Toyota

Job description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Be a team player, someone who can communicate effectively with our customers.
Adhere to established Development standards, Code Quality Standards, collaborate to maintain source code via tools like Git.
Analyze requirements and technical specifications and implement assigned development tasks using various technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot various issues in different environments including Production.
Design, Develop, maintain, and debug cloud native applications.
Mentor other junior developers in the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a full stack development engineer role.
3+ years of experience developing high available & performant systems using AWS offerings.
3+ years of experience in developing IoT solutions.

Requirements and General Skills:

Team player and is a skilled communicator both verbally and in writing.
Acts with professionalism both in person and when working remotely with external / internal stakeholders.
Self-managed, with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills, willingness to learn new technologies and skills.

Technical Skills:

Recent experience in developing and managing highly available distributed applications using toolkits such as Spring Boot, Git, Docker, DevOps tools.
Good understanding of various Design Patterns in building highly available, highly scalable distributed applications connecting a large volume of devices, serving millions of users.
Good understanding of Security Best Practices to implement security at various levels to protect the devices & data.
Good understanding of MQTT V5 protocol is desired.
Must have expert knowledge on JAVA Programming, Spring Boot. Knowledge on GO lang, Phyton, et would be a value add.
Expert level technical knowledge in developing cloud native applications covering infrastructure, platform and software as services.
AWS Technical knowledge in API Gateway, R53, EC2, ECS/EKS, ECR, IoT, CFTs, CloudWatch, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Lambda, S3 etc is required.
Developing and designing REST APIs using JSON, other messaging protocols.
Software Development craftsmanship - Code Quality, Automated Testing, and Agile best practices.
