Duties & Responsibilities

1.    Designs and writes computer programs

2.    Monitors the performance of programs after implementation

3.    Develops and maintains computer applications, procedures, and other systems that satisfy the needs of the user departments 

4.    Develops necessary design work, including testing and documentation. Reviews, evaluates, and implements requests

5.    Analyzes problems, determines the causes and initiates corrective action 

6.    Stays current with technology through seminars, educational opportunities, trade magazines, etc.

7.    Maintains a working knowledge of currently used software as well as continue learning new applications
