Established in 1996, a speakeasy Japanese Izakaya restaurant located in the heart manhattan, is looking for a SERVER!

Currently seeking: Part-timers!

* Only a few minute walk from GRAND CENTRAL STATION
* Comes with free employee meal! We do not use any "leftovers" from our service, and our chefs cooks hot fresh meals everyday!

POSITION:

Server
Salary: $16/hr + tips

Job Description:

* Taking orders, using POS to fire dishes, and assisting the guests seated in your section
* Communicating with MD/host & hostesses to effectively turn tables
* Communicating with managers, bussers, runners, expeditors and BOH for a smooth operation
* Be able to adapt to a fast-paced, and at times, stressful environment
* Complete side works/tasks before and after service for operation (includes, but not limited to: setting the table up for next shift, cleaning the mats, putting away utensils...etc.)

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS:

* Japanese Language
* Knowledge of sake
* Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, especially Izakaya dishes
* Prior experience in restaurant, especially Japanese restaurant
