Provides thorough and accurate documentation in the digital reporting software. Effective communication of verbal history and findings to interpreting Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician. Select and operate appropriate ultrasound transducers and adjust technical factors to guarantee patient safety while still obtaining the highest quality ultrasound image possible (abiding by the ALARA, as low as reasonable achievable, principle). Participation in department quality assurance meetings. Consistently follow established safety rules and regulations. Knowledge of current High-Risk Obstetrical ultrasound practice and guidelines. Evaluate equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition and place appropriate work orders when necessary. Work collaboratively with other partners to provide the utmost quality in patient care and satisfaction.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program. Obstetrical ultrasound experience with high-risk of perinatal sonography experience required.Experience with GE Voluson E10 equipment. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE ARDMS-OB registeredNuchal translucency certification from NTQR or FMF. Fetal Echo Registered or Registry Eligible.Current CPR certification required.
