  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of quality in our node products
  • Participate in all advance quality activities such as:
    • specification and design reviews, DFM, supplier selection, establishing quality goals and criteria, FMEA/PFMEA, and defining validation and reliability test requirements
  • Perform quality and process audits of new and current component & assembly suppliers
  • Resolve mfg. process issues at supplier factories and creating ECOs
  • Responsible for data collection, analysis, reporting of all field quality data relating to our products
  • Work with suppliers on collection and analysis of their quality and yield data
  • Work with suppliers to define and implement in-process and out-going quality control processes. Define and implement QC processes for incoming products
  • Manage the root cause analysis process for field defects of products
  • Define, implement corrective actions, rework activities as required to address quality issues
  • Drive continual improvement efforts in the design and manufacturing of our products

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Geophysics, Engineering or a related field required.
  • MBA, Geophysics or Engineering graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years experience working in a mfg. engineering or quality engineering role
  • Experienced in mechatronics mfg. processes
  • Experience managing supplier quality
  • Solid experience applying problem-solving tools including root cause analysis
  • Ability to clearly summarize quality data and trends, and to create reports and presentations
