JOB TITLE: Quality Control Analyst - 1st Shift LOCATION: Trumbull, CT PAY RATE: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour. ***MUST BE US PERSONS*** We are a national staffing firm working with some of the top-tier aerospace companies in the world! Summary: - Develops and implements testing and inspection procedures.

Tests raw material, chemicals, and/or finished product to quality controls to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations. -
Audits testing results to determine if product specifications are met. Advises operating units on quality control standards for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished products. -
Recommends corrective action where necessary and develops plant quality control manuals. -
Perform the following inspection tasks on components listed on training Competency Sheet: Evaluation Inspection and Final Inspection. -
Perform the following inspection tasks as assigned on all components worked in the facility: Receiving Inspections, Preliminary Inspections, and In-Process Inspections. -
Use precision measuring instruments and gages such as feeler gages, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc. -
Evaluate the repair work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources for completeness and compliance to technical data. -
Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORI's, OREI's, drawings, check sheets, etc. -
Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper identification of parts, operational sequence and recorded information on appropriate documentation. -
Interpret documentation received with incoming cores to determine adequate traceability and history. -
Research compliance requirements of components in work using AD's, ASB's, and other technical data. Required Skills: -
Must know where to find technical data such as operation sheets, manuals, ASB's, ORI's, OREI's and blueprints. -
Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300. -
