Behavioral Health Services of Virginia is a leading provider of mental health care in Virginia. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a 1:1 with individuals struggling with mental health. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate and timely documentation. Most importantly, the candidate must have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record system
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations
• Educate clients and families on mental health diagnoses and treatment options
• Manage crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor in Human Services or a related field
• QMHP registration(s) with Virginia Board of Counsling
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to link consumers to needed services.
