Role: Business Analyst Manager
Location: Walnut creek, CA

Job Description:
This position will manage other members of the Business Intelligence team to support and provide meaningful reports and analytics to both Accounting and Operations. The candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute knowledge and craftsmanship in delivering similar outputs to executive leadership. The business intelligence group is highly collaborative and is looking for an analyst that can drive insights from data and communicate ideas effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide meaningful reporting to key stakeholders throughout the organization including executive management.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data integrity and systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Assist various departments such as Accounting, Operations, and Marketing in understanding systems and how to access quick and concise information routinely.
- Ensure integrity of the data is pristine, implement robust controls and procedures to ensure data transfer between systems and departments is seamless.
- Review reporting metrics and performance indicators to locate and resolve any data discrepancies identified.
- Organize processes and develop procedures and workflows to be able to quickly disseminate information to stakeholders utilizing one centralized reporting system
- Working knowledge and experience leading analytics projects to review and develop useful tools for unique data sets across departments to generate (KPIs) and other evaluation reporting.
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Discover, analyze, recommend and implement new process improvement opportunities across the organization
- Work closely with management and third-party IT solutions partner to prioritize business and information needs.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook)
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Business Intelligence product offerings with the ability to evaluate and recommend.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyses, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to ingest and analyze data from multiple data sources and delivering key business insights to executive clients
- Working knowledge and proven hands-on experience building and modifying queries, report writing and comfortable presenting findings to executive management team.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills are required to prioritize responsibilities and complete work in a timely fashion.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills - as well as the ability to appropriately tailor communications - to effectively interface with different teams as well as non-technical business users.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work under aggressive timelines, in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field desirable.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience driving business insights via reporting and analytics and
- Minimum 1-2 years of management experience.
- Prior experience with Qlik is required
- Real estate knowledge and experience or a related field is preferred.
