Job Description
The team is currently recruiting for a QA engineer/tester with some QA Automation experience. The main function is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution. QA:
- Large test suite for manual and regression testing using Azure Devops.
- Legacy code QA automation maintenance in corporate approved tool and/or Selenium.
Quality Assurance and Automation Responsibilities:
- Working experience with JavaScript (JS) -- Will need to be comfortable coding in JavaScript and part of current experience.
- Familiar with Cypress tool for automation is mandatory.
- Mid level experience on QE / automation using Selenium for Functional Testing/automation.
- Mid level experience in Java testing frameworks (TestNG & Junit).
- Mid level experience working in version control tool GIT.
- Solid development, testing experience and technical expertise with UI and API
- Thorough understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
- Strong knowledge of Quality assurance principles and best practices
- Should be self-sufficient at performing and driving all testing activities with minimal to no oversight requirement
- Solid experience with different types of testing( functional, user interface, system integration and non-functional testing)
- 6+ years' experience as a QA Automation engineer.
- Strong knowledge and experience with REST, SOAP and POSTMAN
- Communicate with and update stakeholders on QA deliverables status, risks, establish and meet project objectives, budget, schedule, and scope.
- Verification of data logging and services through Query SQL and DB2 Databases
Qualifications:
Degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
2-4 years' experience required
Experience testing software
Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports
Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
