Role and Scope of Position:
Responsible for managing a portfolio of small / mid ($50k to $15M) capital construction projects for the Eversource LNG and LPG facilities. The role involves coordinating resources from LNG Engineering, Procurement, and Construction groups to develop and execute projects. Expected to develop project scopes and estimates; interface with external parties (municipalities, contractors); manage change; prioritize, plan, and track field execution of the work; monitor and control project costs; and contribute to reporting (internal, regulatory).
Essential Functions:
  • Manages a portfolio of small / mid ($50k to $15M) capital construction projects (for example, LNG plant equipment replacements and reliability / process system improvement projects).
  • Leads regular coordination meetings with resources from Plant Operations, Engineering, and Construction groups in order to develop and execute projects.
  • Supervises individual Project Engineers assigned directly to the Project Manager to support their work.
  • Establishes project priorities and resolves conflicts when they arise. Holds teams accountable for deliverables and milestones.
  • Responsible for developing project scopes and budgets. Will be required to review invoices and change orders. Plans and schedules projects in conjunction with Plant Operations to ensure limited impact to the operation of the facilities and the availability of resources.
  • Regularly utilizes Maximo, scheduling software, and other computer software to support project execution.
  • Monitors projects under construction in the field through site walks. Is a role model and advocate for field safety.
  • Assists in the development of reports that are required for internal scorecards and for external regulatory agencies, (can include status, projections, timelines, contractor selections, etc.)


Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Project management experience required
  • Ability to develop and present reports within the organization
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences internally and externally
  • Strong knowledge in the practical application of project management techniques and the design and construction of industrial process facilities.
  • Knowledge of LNG liquefaction and vaporization systems, federal (PHMSA and FERC) and State code requirements related to LNG construction projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Project Management, Construction Management, or related degree or equivalent experience.


Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related natural gas distribution, and / or general industrial construction experience is required
  • Knowledge of liquified natural gas facilities, propane, power generation or gas construction standards and procedures preferred
  • Project management experience is required


Licenses & Certifications:
  • Ability to become Operator Qualified under the DOT Program
  • Valid Driver's license is required
  • PMP Project Management Professional preferred
  • PE License preferred


Compensation and Benefits:
  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $107,250.00 to $119,170.00, plus incentive. Employees working in this position may be eligible to receive a rotational shift pay adder upon completion of training. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Working Conditions:
  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
  • Limited ability to work remote (hybrid) may be available pending business needs.
  • This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing. A positive drug test will result in disciplinary action.
