Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description

Are you interested in contributing to our fight against cancer? Join our innovative team! The Office of Technology Development's (OTD) mission is to ensure that Memorial Sloan Kettering's (MSK) inventions have the greatest chance of being developed and commercialized so that these inventions both benefit patients and return the most value to MSK. We are seeking a Project Manager, Immunotherapy Projects to play a crucial role in fulfilling this mission.

You will:

  • Be the project owner for immunotherapy projects, taking the initiative to develop and drive forward action items in a solution-oriented manner
  • Serve as a point person with companies that are collaborating with MSK on immunotherapy projects, including therapeutic antibody development.
  • Act as a liaison between teams at MSK and our industry collaborators to ensure that all MSK responsibilities are met
  • Be responsible for alliance management, and coordinate among various groups at MSK
  • Communicate with licensees to ensure that MSK meets all its license obligations.

You have:

  • 2-4 years of project management experience.
  • Basic understanding of immunology, immuno-oncology, and therapeutic antibody development
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward
  • Previous experience in financial management, preferably in a research (clinical or lab-based) or healthcare environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects while prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
