IT Project Manager
Laurel, MD
Contract
Job description:
The Project Manager will lead small projects for the Customer Service Department.
Projects are generally business projects and where there is a major technical component interface with a technical project manager.
The Project Manager may need to augment business resources in analysis and other project functions.
Prepare plans, schedules, status reports and artifacts.
Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, and document minutes.
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
Create presentations for senior management.
Assist with project training and communications as needed.
Track and manage issues and risks.
Conduct business analysis as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have CAP-M or PMP certification.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
Must have demonstrated proficiency in MS Project, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Aptitude for problem-solving and analysis.
Must be able to work onsite.
Must have reliable transportation and/or dependent care (if applicable).
Is dependable reports to work regularly and on time.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years experience in planning, managing and implementing IT projects.
Education Required:
High School Diploma/ Must have CAP-M or PMP certification.
