Q&D is a multi-faceted general contractor offering exceptional service in all areas of heavy/civil construction: roads, bridges, utilities, grading, paving, demolition, saw cutting, pipelines, foundations and concrete structures.
Position summary:
Q&D Construction is looking for a full time project manager/estimator for its Heavy Civil group.
Planning and execution of the job includes; managing resources, project coordination, overseeing operations and managing job costs.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Strong and clear communication
- Track project progress and performance
- Manage all aspects of the job including planning, assigning and execution of the project
- Ability to respect, enforce and promote Q&D and its policies
- Partner with the Project Superintendent to develop site logistics plan
- Uphold and maintain all Safety policies and standards on all projects
Qualifications:
- MUST have 3 years in Project Management experience in the Heavy Civil field
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Proficient in estimating, scheduling and managing
- Basic HCSS skills preferred (not mandatory)
