The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing glazing projects, specifically stick built curtain walls, and a comprehensive understanding of the Kawneer system. This role involves end-to-end project management, including budget controls, scheduling, procurement, and collaboration with various stakeholders. If you are a results-oriented professional with a strong grasp of glazing and building envelopes, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Project Execution: Successfully manage glazing projects as a subcontractor, focusing on stick build curtain wall systems, primarily the Kawneer system, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.Financial Oversight: Take responsibility for project budgets, cost control, and forecasting. Monitor project expenditures and work closely with the Director of Projects to ensure profitability.Site Coordination: Coordinate project activities on-site, align procurement, fabrication schedules, and installation schedules with the project's critical path to optimize efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Site Superintendents and Estimators to ensure project requirements are met and communicated effectively.Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong understanding of building envelopes and glazing scopes, ensuring the highest quality standards are upheld throughout the project.Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Director of Projects on project progress, budget status, and any potential issues or deviations from the plan.Cost Analysis: Conduct periodic job costing and cost-to-complete analysis to track project financial performance.Requirements:Proven experience in project management, specifically in glazing projects.Knowledge of stick built curtain wall systems, with expertise in the Kawneer system.Strong understanding of the building envelope and glazing scope.Ability to manage projects ranging from $500,000 to $5 million.Excellent budget control and forecasting skills.Effective site coordination and procurement abilities.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience in periodic job costing and cost-to-complete analysis.Ability to work closely with Site Superintendents and Estimators.Reporting experience and the ability to align project activities with critical paths.How To Apply:To apply for this position please contact the office via +1 (604) 670-4537 or Operations@afewgoodlads.com.
