ob Summary: Our company is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in ground-up multi-level construction projects to represent the general contractor on-site. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully managing complex projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the general contractor on-site, managing all aspects of the ground-up multi-level construction project from pre-construction to completion
- Collaborate with the owner's representative, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans
- Manage and supervise the on-site construction team, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on schedule and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements
- Attend regular meetings with the owner's representative and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, budget, and schedule
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, material, and equipment expenses, to ensure projects are delivered within budget
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, identifying any potential issues or delays and recommending solutions to overcome them
- Manage the closeout process, ensuring all necessary permits, approvals, and project documentation are obtained and properly stored
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed their expectations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project Manager with a focus on ground-up multi-level construction projects representing the general contractor
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements related to commercial construction
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from pre-construction to completion, on-time and within budget
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions quickly
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
