Edge Electric is looking for a Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team in AUSTIN, TEXAS.

As a Project Manager with Edge, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that will shape the future of Austin, Texas.

Project Managers at Edge will be responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting all labor, material, job expenses, and changes. This individual will also oversee monthly financial projections, and the creation of a job-specific schedule of values that maintains positive cash flow, and will create, submit, and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong organizational, negotiation, financial, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, and review bid documents and specifications for accuracy/discrepancies
Set clear goals and expectations for the foreman
Provide coaching/counseling to the foreman
Work closely with the client Superintendent and Project Manager
Resolve client concerns
Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
Manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, correspondence, change orders
Conduct post-mortem project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:
5+ years experience in the commercial electrical industry
Extensive understanding of electrical systems and installation
Ability to read plans
Experience with tenant finish-outs and some ground-up experience
Working knowledge and experience in Procore, Outlook, and submittals are preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
Familiarity with Procore is desirable but not required
English / Spanish bilingual is desirable but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
