Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY


To lead Electrical engineering and design activities within SOG/SOE projects.

To ensure electrical engineering and design execution to follow Air Products Standards, Specification and Work Instructions.

This role requires to lead team to complete electrical engineering and design activities as per quality, schedule and cost requirement.

To fulfill the requirements of the position the incumbent must develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external team members (within region and global), Operations, Procurement and Technology.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


Undertake electrical system engineering and design independently, including CD, BED and DED.

Lead team to prepare electrical engineering and design deliverables to enable procurement and construction activities.

Provide necessary technical support for procurement and construction as required.

Plan and organize the daily work of electrical engineers/assistant engineer in order to timely complete all deliverables for the discipline with high quality and cost effective design.

Maintain good interface with other disciplines.

Report to Electrical Engineering Manager.



JOB REQUIREMENTS


Job Incumbent is expected to have minimum 15 years work experience in Electrical Engineering and Design for Chemical or Petrochemical related industry with Design Institute or engineering company.

Job Incumbent is expected to have bachelors degree in electrical engineering and automation or relevant discipline.

Job Incumbent is expected to have certain discipline management skills in large scale project.

Familiar with electrical equipment and bulk material sizing and selection.

Well understand Chinese local electrical engineering & design codes and be familiar with international standards and codes.

Well understand the interface with other disciplines, such as process, piping, civil, structure, mechanical, machinery, instrument, plumbing and firefighting, HVAC, telecom, etc.

Good skills in using electrical system analysis software, such as ETAP, SKM PTW, etc.

Good team player and effective communication skills.

Registered electrical engineer is preferred.
