This position pays up to $230,000 PLUS a $2,000 per month benefit!
Summary Physicians diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
Duties and Responsibilities - Performs annual evaluations on patients and ensure preventative procedures take place.
- Diagnoses and treat illnesses or injuries.
- Prescribes medications; and orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests.
- Counsels patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
- Implements a plan of treatment, including diagnostic studies results.
- Determines final diagnosis.
- Works with staff to ensure that the medical needs of the patients are met.
- Ensures that the patient meets the medical admission criteria.
- Participates in the Quality Assurance of the medical documentation.
- Participates in the utilization review of the billing process.
- Directly supervises the work of medical assistants and phlebotomists.
- Keeps medical record documentation according to the State and Federal regulations and their guidelines.
- Participates in preparation of super bills.
- Performs duties in honest and ethical manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements - Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida as an MD.
- At least (5) years of experience as a licensed physician.
Skills: - Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to work with individuals within and outside the organization, in professional and courteous manner.
- Must develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Strong ability to use independent judgment and initiative.
- Organized and able to manage competing priorities.

- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be extremely detail oriented.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of EHR.
- Bilingual skills preferred (English/Spanish).
- Must develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
