Looking for a board certified Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director of our Inpatient Rehab Care unit. 21 bed unit, all private rooms, Serves patients age 18+ Average length of stay - 11 days Unit hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p Call schedule: evenings and 1:3 weekend coverage Staffing: 1 OT, 1 PT, 3 PTA, 3 COTA, 3 RN/LPN Majority of staff members have 15+ years experience Weekend volumes include rounding on 3-5 patients with 2-3 admits Full gym, including car simulator Manage 6 telemetry patients at any given time CARF accredited Stroke Specialty accredited Great functional gain and return to home Base salary of up to $332,300 guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract. 2 yr contract also available. Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days). Additional 5 days when producing 75%tile wRVUs CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5000 Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment) Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Retirement / Savings Plan. Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate Health Insurance Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $50,000 Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment) Bonus Incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 30% of salary

222 not-for-profit hospital. 2200 employees, 140 active medical staff. 14,000+ surgical procedures/year. Number of Operating Suites: 2 Open Heart; 1 Hybrid (for peripheral vascular and open cardiac cases); 5 General Surgery Rooms; 4 Orthopedic Rooms; 5 Endo Suites with 1 ERCP Room; and 1 Cysto Suite located in the Endoscopy area (19 total rooms). Recent New Construction: $100 million in new construction, expansion and refurbishment: Patient care addition; nursing units and 100 private beds - opened July 2009 Open heart/cardiac unit - open Dec. 2008 New clinical laboratory New medical library New front entrance New Surgery and Emergency Department New lounge and physician area Additional parking for physicians Maternity Department: 11 Private LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Post), 1,600 deliveries per year, 5 room triage area, 3 rooms for surgery patients, surgical room, holding nursery, and a 6 bed special care nursery. Critical Care Department: 16 ICU rooms (15 private), Circular floor set-up, Break away doors, sleeping rooms for on-call staff and medical students, and large waiting room with restrooms and vending machines. Emergency Department: 23 beds (21 private) and 4 chairs, special pediatric room, drive-up lane, using computerized radiography (filmless), 2 x-ray rooms and a STAT lab - expanding to 47 beds. - Osteopathic Emergency Medicine Residency Program began July 2008 |
