Patient Care:

Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain medical histories.

Procedures:

Assist in surgical procedures or perform minor surgical procedures independently.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and casting.
Administer injections, immunizations, and IV medications.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Document patient encounters, treatments, and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Patient Education and Advocacy:

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
Advocate for patients' needs and preferences in the healthcare system.
Participate in community health education and outreach programs.
Administrative Duties:

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
Assist in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Maintain continuing education and licensure requirements.
