Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Brooklyn Heights NY
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice part time (2 days per week) in Brooklyn Heights NY. The PA-C / NP will work under the supervision of the Physician or Surgeon but may also work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. Experience in all areas of medicine a plus but may specialize in an area such as pain management. Our ideal provider demonstrates a strong attention to detail, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a great bedside manner, and is competent in their clinical skills.

Duties:

Evaluate, manage, and coordinate patient care
Provide continuity of patient care
Patient consultation- See new and follow up with major medical patients, Physical exam, and take social/medical histories
Order and review tests/diagnostics
Document encounter
Create treatment plans
Prescribe medication
Health promotion and maintenance
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Assist practice physician when needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
PA-C/NP licensed to practice in NY
Clinical skills in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation knowledge a plus
BLS certification
Recent grads welcome

Compensation:
$65-$75/hr (DOE)
Schedule:
Part time (2 days per week 8 hr days)
