Mihom, an affiliate of Parx Home Care, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our superstar team! In this role, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional care and treatment to our patients. The PTA will work to restore patients' physical function, relieve pain, and prevent disability by administering therapeutic treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patients' progress in response to treatment.
• Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for patient care.
• Instruct and educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and assistive devices.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active and unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in a home healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, equipment, and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
