Parx Home Care is currently seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a reputable home care agency serving Miami-Dade and Broward counties in Florida, we pride ourselves on providing quality care that enables our patients to remain in the comfort of their own home while receiving the supports they need. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention to clients in their homes. Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine patient needs and establish a care plan
• Administer occupational therapy treatments to patients in their homes
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to promote independence in daily living activities
• Provide patient and caregiver education on therapy goals and treatment methods
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team as needed

Requirements

• A current Florida Occupational Therapy license
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a home health setting
• Strong knowledge of therapy principles and practices, including assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and computer software programs.
