We are looking for a Payroll Specialist/Analyst. This is a contract position that will last a minimum of three months.

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, finance, accounting or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 3 years experience in (general) Payroll accounting including:


• balancing payroll, posting and reconciling payroll related G/L accounts


• creating journal entries


• researching cash account discrepancies


• balancing payroll to cash and the general ledger


• setting up and running complex ad hoc reports/queries


• providing SOX key control deliverables


• researching tax tracers and inquiries


• Payroll Tax experience required


• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
