Fetch Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Centers is seeking a Payroll Specialist. Fetch Veterinary Group supports multiple, multi-state veterinary specialty hospitals. We currently manage four hospitals and continue to expand. We are looking for a payroll specialist to come join our growing team. Responsibilities - Compile, record and enter employee time and payroll data for all Fetch hospitals.
- Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
- Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustment, and post information into designated records.
- Track and record attendance for all departments and employees.
- Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into payroll software
- Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
- Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
- Compile employee time and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
- Enter missed punches each pay period.
- Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
- Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, etc.
- Compile statistical reports, statement, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts, and submit them to appropriate departments.
- Complete wage statements for verifications of employment.
- Complete time sheets showing employees' arrival and departure times.
- Coordinate special programs that involve payroll deductions.

Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Requirements - Education: Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school)
- Experience: 1 year of experience in payroll administration, Paychex experience preferred
- Computer Skills: MS Office, Outlook, Excel, in-house data systems
