Job Description

Responsibilities will include :
    • Payroll Processing:
    • Execute end-to-end payroll processing for employees in India, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
    • Calculate and process monthly salary, allowances, and deductions.
    • Verify time and attendance records for accuracy.
    • Compliance:
    • Stay updated on changes in Indian labor laws and taxation regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to payroll and benefits.
    • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities.
    • Employee Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system.
    • Process new hires, terminations, and other employment status changes.
    • Query Resolution:
    • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
    • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the HR team to ensure seamless integration between HR and payroll systems.
    • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
    • Employee reimbursements
    • Expense Report Processing:
    • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
    • Verify receipts and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
    • Policy Adherence:
    • Stay updated on company reimbursement policies and guidelines.
    • Guide employees on expense report submission and reimbursement procedures.
    • Communication:
    • Communicate with employees to resolve reimbursement-related inquiries and discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for accurate reimbursement.
    • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain organized and detailed records of all reimbursed expenses.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
    • Technology Utilization:
    • Utilize reimbursement software and tools efficiently to streamline the reimbursement process.
    • Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot any technical issues related to reimbursement systems.
    • Accounting and compliance support
    • Supporting with basic accounting and compliance-related tasks, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Proven 2 years experience as a payroll assistant or in a similar role.
    • Knowledge of Indian payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
    • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
