The Labeling Specialist is responsible for developing, revising and implementing new and revised packaging and labeling for products. This function includes developing and maintaining content and graphic standards as proposed by Regulatory and International guidelines.

Develops, revises and reviews product package labeling (e.g., container labels, component labels, instructions for use) to assure compliance/conformity with existing Corporate, Regulatory and Global (ISO, PAL, etc.) guidelines.

Works with R&D, Marketing, Quality, Medical, Regulatory and Plant production teams and associates to develop/revise product labeling and resolve specifications for: type style, font size, transparency and conformity of wording, formatting and print/online publishing.

Assists with the development and implementation of packaging and labeling processes for plants. Works with Label Control, Incoming Inspection, Operations and Quality to resolve quality issues.

Supports preparation of English documentation for translation ordering. Responsible for interpreting vendor specifications for labeling.

Follows graphic and label standards practiced by the Labeling group.

Ensures the accuracy of labeling documentation by reviewing updated artwork prior to circulating the files for review by Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, R&D and Technical Services Departments.

Supervises the accurate use of product names and associated trademarks. Responsible for the implementation and completion of assigned projects within established time frames.
