The Packaging Operator for Grease works at the last stage of the manufacturing process packaging the finished product mix/Grease into labeled cartridges, tubes or other containers.
Currently Have Openings on the following shifts:
1st shift - 5am to 3pm (10 Hours)
Essential Functions
1. Ability to read and understand work order instructions and noted schedules
2. Prepare shift with raw material requirements
3. Ability to load and off load totes from press machine
4. Ability to perform visual inspection of product and packaging to ensure proper fill weights
5. Set- up dosing for press parts
6. Set up label printer
7. Responsible for recording production totals and maintaining scrap records
Experience, Knowledge, and Education
1. The ability to read and write in English (Required)
2. The ability to safely push, pull or drag up to 100 lbs. frequently
3. High School diploma or GED (Required)
4. Prior manufacturing supervisory experience (Preferred)
5. Prior Quality Control experience (Preferred)
6. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Concepts (Desired)
7. A high school diploma or GED (Required)
8. A previous experience in packaging or other manufacturing operations is a plus
