Job Description:

Our Client is looking for an experienced PC software engineer with an interest in software security to support our PC Security Lead in the development and integration of new anti-cheat, anti-tamper, and digital rights management software. This engineer will work directly with game teams on Halo Infinite to integrate, support, and benchmark security code designed to keep Halo safe and secure on PC. In addition, this engineer will work with the PC Security Lead and the PC team to design and implement new security code and features. They will also assist in validating the efficacy of Halo's all-up security posture on PC and identifying areas for improvement. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.



Tasks will include owning the integration of internal security libraries and products, integrating with external security solutions, understanding and making security recommendations on game engine constructs, and other tasks that are not yet known. Experience with software security on Windows, game hacking, strong debugging skills and experience with reverse engineering are directly applicable.



Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of new anti-cheat, anti-tamper, and DRM technology to support Halo Infinite on PC and future games


• Integrate internal and third-party security products into the game engine


• Work with game teams to understand disparate game engine constructs, and make security recommendations and best practices


• Document and review designs for assigned projects


• Write efficient code that conforms to our coding standards and best practices


• Deliver fully tested (Unit, Functional and Stress) and reviewed code

• Experienced PC developer with a passion for creating an excellent player experience


• 3+ years of professional experience coding in C++


• Strong debugging, problem solving, and communication skill


• Demonstrated self-motivated detail-oriented developer


• Flexibility to tackle a variety of problems and features


• BS degree or equivalent industry experience

• Strong knowledge of the PE file format


• Strong reverse engineering skills on Windows


• Familiarity with performance analysis and optimization


• Familiarity with supporting multiple Windows OS environments


• Experience with anti-cheat, anti-tamper, and DRM software development


• Worked on or shipped a PC game (AAA or Indie title)
