Oracle C2M Consultant - OZ

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) Consultant for a 3-month independent contractor position. As a Consultant, you will serve as an advisor to the team, providing guidance on the functionality, business processes, data, and data relationships within the C2M system. This is not a system implementation role but rather a strategic advisory position focusing on C2M processes, data, data relationships, and data cleansing.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on C2M system functionality, business processes, and best practices.
• Analyze and understand the existing C2M system, including its data structure, data relationships, and integration points with other systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, data optimization, and data cleansing within the C2M system.
• Develop and document strategies and recommendations for addressing data inconsistencies, redundancies, and data quality issues within the C2M system.
• Assist in designing and implementing data cleansing methodologies, including data validation rules, data transformation processes, and data migration strategies.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and provide insights to improve system performance and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and data management teams, to ensure alignment and integration of C2M data and processes.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to C2M systems, data management, and data cleansing methodologies.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to the team, enabling them to understand and effectively utilize the C2M system's capabilities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) working with Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M) system in an advisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of C2M system functionality, business processes, and data structures.
• Strong understanding of C2M data relationships, integration points, and dependencies with other systems.
• Proven track record of providing strategic advice and guidance on C2M processes, data, and data cleansing.
• Experience in identifying and resolving data quality issues, including data cleansing, data validation, and data transformation.
• Proficiency in data analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant certifications in Oracle C2M or related areas are preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Oracle C2M Consultant or similar advisory role.
• Strong understanding of the utilities industry and related business processes is a plus.
• Experience in data cleansing projects and familiarity with data governance principles.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
