We are seeking an Optometrist for a fantastic opportunity in Greensboro. The ideal candidate must possess qualities such as genuineness, honesty, intuition, hard-working, punctuality, compassion, humility, and excitement toward eye care and eye disease. The candidate should be passionate about getting to know their patients and providing them with the best care possible.
They are committed to providing their patients with a contemporary, customized eye care experience. They utilize the most advanced technology to manage their patients vision, ocular health, and overall well-being. The Optometrist will be responsible for comprehensive eye exams, dry eye treatment and management, glaucoma and macular degeneration detection and management, diabetic eye exams, pediatric eye exams, urgent/emergency care, specialty contact lens fits, and myopia management.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients. Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining
- 4th year students are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of optometric practices and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate patient records
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting eye health
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry
