Who we need:

The Operations Director is responsible for the successful delivery of all day-to-day operations and program activities. Maintain program compliance and adherence to policies and procedures and responsible for the management of all deliverables for the program. Direct assessment teams to ensure all contract functions are performed to the highest standards and meet or exceed contract requirements and customer expectations.

What youll do:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for all program activities that align with our contract, TN State Rule, and federal requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings with state clients as requested and review performance, discuss trends, and conduct planning.
  • Serve as primary contact for State staff.
  • Implement program changes as directed and agreed upon by our state client.
  • Ensure data systems utilized for all program activities support contract needs and meet all service requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure assessments are conducted by appropriately credentialed, highly skilled, and well-trained clinicians and that outcomes align with program procedures.
  • Direct teams and consult with program leaders and corporate supports to implement contractual requirements with required timeframes.
  • Manage and oversee all day-to-day activities including providing training, technical assistance, and support to staff, providers, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Provide statewide training of nursing facility and hospital providers, state personnel, and internal teams.
  • Understand and keep up with current literature, regulations, and research related to long term care, mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and medical conditions.
  • Oversee and monitor program and staff adherence to documented metrics.

What youll need:

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in business, human or social services, health management or related field or Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Registered Nurse with active unrestricted licensure in Tennessee.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge of Federal Regulation 42 CFR, Chapter 483. 89, applicable statutes and rules of the State of TN, including TennCare Rules at 1200-13-01-.10.
  • Knowledge of the organization of medical records, medical terminology, and disease process required.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, staff development, and customer relations skills.
  • Demonstrated record of success facilitating progressive change and development of innovative business functions and programs.
  • Working knowledge of best practice in content areas and government policy structure.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in management in healthcare or social services.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in Medicaid, direct care services, behavioral health, and/or other state programs.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with public mental health and medical programs.
