The Operations Associate is responsible for the handling of finished goods and operating canning line machinery. This person operates a forklift daily to manage inventory, loads and unloads trucks, maintains inventory processes, contributes to facility and machinery cleanliness, and tends to canning line equipment. The Operations Associate enjoys working in a team environment, is excited to learn new skills, and can effectively balance detail and efficiency. Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Work on the Fulfillment Team, mainly working the mid-morning to early afternoon shift
  • Be excited to learn about beverage manufacturing and canning line equipment
  • Get trained to operate forklifts (propane and electric) and maneuver both single and double pallets
  • Operate equipment on our canning line and grow skills in machinery fundamentals
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift
  • Put away inventory into racking and floor stacks, pick and prepare inventory for orders
  • Maintain inventory control methods, following best practices at all times
  • Contribute to accurate shipping, receiving, and production documentation
  • Wash kegs using semi-automated machinery and help with keg filling efforts
  • Be accountable for maintaining standards for warehouse cleanliness
  • Use business knowledge to set priorities, make good judgment calls, and problem solve
  • Be a contributing member of the team to constantly improve procedures, quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Ask for help when needed!

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Excited to be trained on forklift operating procedures
  • Interested in learning basic mechanical systems
  • Communicate extremely well within a team and manage time effectively
  • Be able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Comfortable working in an ambient manufacturing environment, including noise, variable temperatures, and exposure to wet conditions
  • Comfortable standing and/or sitting for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 35lbs periodically, as scheduled in advance
  • High attention to detail and motivated to learn new skills

What to Expect

  • Flexibility within a Monday - Friday schedule. No weekends!
  • Shift hours will be more orientated towards mid-morning arrival time and can vary between days. Schedules are set two weeks in advance.
  • Typical hours where you can expect to be onsite can range between 7am and 7pm
  • Being that this is a manufacturing environment, there are times where flexibility is required with short notice.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ Years of Age
  • Must be Boosted for COVID-19
