Title : Network Firewall/ LB- L3

Location : Nashville, TN

Duration : Fulltime

Required Skills/Experience:

Primary Skill (Technical Skill) Network Security Palo Alto, ASA and Checkpoint Firewalls

Secondary Skill (optional) Data Network Routing and Switching

at least 10 years of total experience.

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage Firewalls of Palo Alto, Checkpoint and ASA

Good experience in F5 Load balancer

Troubleshoot firewall rules, VPNs on ASA firewalls

Manage IDS/IPS equipment for performance management

Perform Incident Management, problem Mgt, Capacity Mgt. and Release Management.

Run the system heath check procedures & provide inputs to L3 teams

Implement and rollout Patch updates with planned down time.

Maintains and monitor network, firewall utilization and make necessary changes whenever required

Must have:

Experience in Network Vendor products like Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Cisco ASA Firewalls

Knowledge and experience with inter-network routing architectures, Cloud Proxy solutions like ZScaler configuration and the underlying network security technologies

Should have Network / Security Administrator & acquired hands-on experience in the in large setups.

Experience in Configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, VPN, routing protocols IDS/IPS, AAA and knowledge of authentication into an Active Directory Environment,

Knowledge on monitoring and management tools like (Solarwinds, HP NNM, Sitescope, Sniffer)

Nice to Have:

Experience in Network Vendor products like Cisco Routing and switching, etc

Security/Proxy Server Operational support

H/W troubleshooting & Vendor coordination

Log monitoring / maintenance

Basic administration of IP Telephony Systems

Network Bandwidth, Capacity Analyze the recommendations.

Expertise to provide inputs for root cause analysis and record solutions in the knowledge base.

Vendor Management Follow up and call closure

Experience on working for global customers

Process & Tools:

Remote system administration

Incident, Change & Problem management

Knowledge on ITIL frame work

Behavioural Skill:

Supporting escalated tasks/incidents from L1 team

Fair Written & Verbal Communication Skills

Technical Team member

Ready to work on 24*7 environment
