Medical Physicist (Remote, CA)

Provide medical physics and health physics consulting services to client health care facilities

Ensure the performance of diagnostic radiation machines is up to standard

Ensure the radiologic environment where radiation producing machines and radioisotopes are used is safe

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Calculate and measure the radiologic quantities to interpret and implement the regulations

Conduct Physics testing of the diagnostics machines

Conduct surveys with various radiation detectors and survey-meters, and recordkeeping

Position reports to Atlanta, GA but can telecommute from residence in California, as frequent travel, up to 4 days per week to unanticipated client locations in California is required.

Master of Science in Physics, Health Physics, Radiologic Sciences, or related field

Frequent travel to unanticipated client locations within the state of California
