Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, prepare, and submit medical claims to insurance companies.


• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.


• Resolve billing discrepancies and appeals with insurance providers.


• Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts.


• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.


• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure accurate billing and coding.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.


• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification is a plus.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.


• Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
